During the Pandemic, and for over one-year and six months, LFSAFC advocated to assist my grandmother in acquiring her green card that was paid in advance!  LFSAFC reached out to the District of Columbia Congressional Office. Conversely, within two-weeks the Honorable Congresswoman, Eleanor Holmes Norton intervened and within two-months, my grandmother received her green-card! I saw the hard work of my mom’s advocacy and commitment for my elderly grandmother!

My credit was not in good standing with the three bureaus, I contacted my sister-in-law to guide me through the steps in the beginning stage of her business. LFSAFC, in the early phases of my business, advocated for funds to be distributed by Department and Community Housing Development Agency to the Buxton Condominiums. Homeowners were approved for funds by DCHD during the pandemic to assist with mortgage and/or HOA fees. While the process for releasing funds was lengthy, LFSAFC contacted the Council Members Office in Ward 8, the Constituent Services, Congressional Office, and DCHD staff personnel. With hard work and advocacy, LFSAFC is pleased to report that homeowners who had applied for the Housing Assistance Funds received payments that were paid to the financial company for the Buxton Condominiums.
